Mark Ruffalo Jokes about Streaming the rest of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

Fans of Thor: Ragnarok who’d been paying attention to Mark Ruffalo’s social media page just days ago got a bit of an unexpected – and unplanned – treat. During the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok, Mark accidentally left his Instagram stream open as he placed his phone in his back pocket, giving thousands of fans the chance to listen (sort of) to the film until he realized what was going on.

Fans immediately began talking to one another about how to get his attention, to clue him in on what was happening. Some were thrilled at the prospect of hearing the film while others didn’t take the accident so lightly.

However, Mark didn’t let it get him down. In fact, he joked that if he had his Instagram live turned on that he’d let fans in on the rest of the film, too.

With the incredible precautions Marvel takes to uphold the cloak of secrecy when it comes to the MCU, you have to laugh at the fact that Mark was able to so effortlessly stream one of the biggest movies of the year.

Unless of course, you’re Tom Holland. If you’re Tom Holland, you want the world to know that Mark’s the worst Avengers secret keeper. Oh, and you want your full script.

Tom also retweeted the perfect gif that a fan used to describe their reaction to finding out what Mark had done and considering cutting Tom a little slack.

Seriously, the best part of social media is people who are on top of the gif game. That one couldn’t have happened any better.

Did you catch Mark’s accidental stream of Thor: Ragnarok? Honestly, even if he had managed to stream the entire thing, we’d still be the first to line up to see it in theaters when it premieres. It is Marvel, after all.
