One of our favorite things about television and film superheroes is when they use their platform to be heroes in their day to day lives. When taking on the role of a comic book legend, these actors understand that they’ve got fans across the world that look up to them in a major way.
Most recently, some of Marvel’s finest have stepped up to the plate to support The Solutions Project which aims to make the United State’s move to using 100 percent renewable energy much quicker. Mark Ruffalo is the co-founder of the project and it makes sense that he’d enlist some of his closest friends to help.
Especially, since Avengers: Infinity War has been filming in Atlanta. That’s important since earlier this year, the city became the 27th to commit to using 100% renewable energy by the yea3r 2035.
Mark didn’t just enlist some of his pals to help, he also made it possible for Marvel fans to contribute and get an awesome shirt in the same go. The shirt can be seen below in Ruffalo’s post.
Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson are also wearing the shirts and they’re pretty incredible. You can purchase the shirt here and check out The Solutions Project’s webpage to find out how you can get involved.
