Mark Hamill may have just revealed the first word of Star Wars Episode IX‘s title.
The word is not really surprising, as it’s probably the start of trillions of movie titles.
(to be continued…)

He tweeted out “The…to be continued,” on the 13th of September, which set off fans to react in many silly ways-including this classic Spongebob reference.

If the third film title in this trilogy begins with the word “The”, it will follow suit of the first three. It will also be the fifth out of all nine that begin with the conjunction. The Phantom Menace, The Empire Strikes Back, The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi all begin with “The”.
Mark Hamill originated the role of Luke Skywalker over 40 years ago, and he does die in the latest installment, The Last Jedi. He’ll be in this next film, but probably in ghost form. This is likely to be Hamill’s last appearance in any Star Wars film.
Perhaps we will need to watch Hamill’s social media accounts for the actual title reveal. Keep your eyes here for more Star Wars tidbits as the wait continues!
Star Wars: Episode IX is currently filming in England, and will hit theaters December 2019.
