Margot Robbie’s ‘Birds Of Prey’ Film Gets Character List
Warner Bros. is well on its way with producing and releasing DC Comic based movies. With Aquaman just around the corner and the Joker Origin movie that is set to start production in September, things are moving forward for Margot Robbie’s Birds Of Prey.
According to The Wrap, who had an exclusive on this matter, the character list for the girl gang announced. Black Canary, Cassandra Cain, Huntress and Renee Montoya got added to the list of badasses for the film so far. There are no details on who is going to get cast for these lovely ladies of the DC universe.
Not a lot is known about this movie, only that Margot Robbie will reprise her role as the famous Harley Quinn and she will help in producing this movie with the help of Sue Kroll and Bryan Unkeless. They went for a female director for this movie, Cathy Yan (known for her debut Dead Pigs), which is the third female director that the DCU knows. This film still has no name, but we do know that it’s going to be a ‘girl gang’ movie. We also know that Christina Hodson is writing the script for the untitled Birds Of Prey movie, which makes us happy about the whole girl gang behind the scenes as well as on the screen.
Next, to the list of villains and heroines, The Wrap also learned that the big bad wolf in the movie will be a Batman comic villain that hasn’t been on the screen yet. Who could it be? Do you also think they’ll eventually add Poison Ivy to the list?

Birds of Prey is rumored to start filming in January in Los Angeles. There are no officially stated dates yet, so we have to wait. Maybe we will see some announcements on SDCC!
