Man Of Steel: The Film Is Trending Again! From Hating It To Loving it! Fans Defend The Film Claiming It Has Heart!

Zack Snyder just had a new film release to Netflix called Army Of The Dead. To celebrate the release Variety decided to rank the filmmaker’s films. This is where Man Of Steel comes in. The film is trending again, because of the piece from variety. They claim the film has no heart and now fans are back to defend it.
The variety peace took all of Snyder’s work, “taking visuals, plot, storytelling, and slow-mo all into account,” to make a list of Snyder’s best films. There are a lot of weird things on that list, such as the inclusion of Justice League. Not the Snyder Cut, the theatrical release that was pretty much all Whedon.
What’s really got people fired up this time is something they said about Man Of Steel. The piece had some nice things to say about the film. They complimented the look and casting, as is to be expected. Henry Cavill is an amazing Superman, after all!
The problem is after praising those things, the piece goes on to state that the film “seems to lack any heart associated with the iconic character” going on to elaborate that “this Superman is dark and brooding, ready to kill and commit massive property damage at a moment’s notice”.
Now, it’s not that they’re necessarily wrong. Not completely, anyway. Having Superman kill Zod at the end of Man Of Steel was always a strange decision to me. This version of Superman was certainly different, but I always thought the film was pretty great.
Other fans weren’t having it either. They took to social media to defend the film the same way they defended the actor on his birthday. Some just wanted to defend the film and others took the opportunity to remind WB that they want a Man Of Steel 2.
Snyder doesn’t seem to think that’s in the cards, though.
“The reality is, as far as I know, there’s no interest and/or appetite to do more of these movies from Warner Bros. With me, anyway,” Snyder said in an interview with I Minutemen. “But I didn’t think making this, finishing this film correctly would ever happen. But I did do my best to — as far as the creation of the Justice League, those different personalities being brought together — that idea, that’s what this movie is about.”
Here are just some of the example of what people were saying on social media.
Imagine watching this and still thinking that man of steel has no warmth or heart pic.twitter.com/5wrtYVu5oC

So I was intrigued by this trend, read the article, and I've got this to say: it's extremely asinine to say Man of Steel lacks heart. I hate the character of Superman and Man of Steel is one of the best and one of my favorite superhero films of all time. https://t.co/yJBYekeJFo

The only thing Man of Steel lacks is a sequel pic.twitter.com/owbO5Cm06E

Man of Steel was the first time I truly understood the character, and it actually got me emotional because of how much heart he has. Kal is pure and selfless, living in a world that struggles to be, & this movie showed this effortlessly. I adore it. https://t.co/kBuG01sBuc

I hope the person who said Man of Steel has "no heart or warmth" was joking.
The movie is not only filled with hope and a clear familiar message, but the first thing you get from MOS is the sound of a heart beating.

It was still surprising to see the film trending again. And I really do hope it gets a sequel.
