‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ Releases “Dancing Queen” Video

The gang’s all back and singing the most iconic of ABBA songs! We are just a week away from Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again hitting theaters and Universal Pictures already has our feet tapping with the official lyric video for a little number called “Dancing Queen” – you may have heard of it. While not an exclusive first look at the music video, the lyric video features clips from the upcoming sequel as original and new stars dance around the gorgeous Greek island!
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again finds Amanda Seyfried’s character Sophie pregnant and wanting to know more about her mother’s past. The movie will take place both in the present with Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, and Dominic Cooper all reprising their roles from the first film as well as in the past where Lily James will play a young Meryl Streep.
Jeremy Irvine, Hugh Skinner, and Josh Dylan will play the younger versions of Brosnan, Firth. While it seems fairly certain that Streep’s character will not be present aside from flashbacks or memories, we do know that Cher will also be appearing in the sequel as Sophie grandmother.
Expect to see some new ABBA songs making their debut in Here We Go Again, but fear not, classics like “Dancing Queen” and “Mamma Mia” have been re-recorded for the film as well! Check out the full lyric video below and get ready to party next weekend when Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again hits theaters.
