We’re just under a week away from Parks and Recreation stars Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler reuniting on television and in our hearts. The pair will be teaming up once more for NBC’s new crafty competition show Making It.
In preparation for the series premiere, we’ve already seen Offerman and Poehler go head-to-head in a crafty pun-off. Now, Offerman has teamed up with Shop Master Jimmy DiResta for a cutting-edge game they made up called Will It Saw?
The premise of the game is exactly what you think it would be. Offerman and DiResta take random objects and see if they are able to saw through them. It’s more of an experiment than a game, really. Do you think they were able to saw through rollerblades, bongos, and a baseball? Check out the video below to find out.
As NBC explains, “each episode of Making It will consist of two projects, cleverly designed by Poehler and Offerman, that test the Makers’ ability to think outside of the box. The challenges are also designed to bring out skilled insights and takeaway, touching personal stories and lots of laughs.
First, the faster-craft round will be a timed challenge that will test their ability to not only work quickly but imaginatively as well. Next, the Makers will move to the master craft collection, a one-of-a-kind themed challenge in which the competitors will need to use their expertise and get inventive in order to assemble a winning craft that fits the theme of that week. In the end, only one will emerge victoriously and be named Master Maker.”
Even if you’re not into DIY projects, it’s clear to see that this series is going to be one to watch each week! You can check out the preview of the show HERE. Making It premieres on NBC July 3st at 10 pm EST!
