Many were scared if Fox would give Gotham another season, and when it finally did, the cast and producers couldn’t help to tease the next, and final season to the fans.
Lately, The Hashtag Show is fantastic in giving rumored news about the DCU and now even for the TV Show, Gotham. They released exclusive character descriptions that might give us a little more insight on what real villains we will see in the final season. Gotham has been known for their first origin villains that represent the Joker (Jerome Valeska, or should we say Jeremiah now?), the Penguin, the Riddler, and many more. It’s the first character description delivered by The Hashtag show, makes us excited enough to think we’re getting Bane’s father as the new villain in the fifth season of Gotham.
“First up we have Eduardo Dorrance who is male of any ethnicity in his mid-30s-early 40s who will be a recurring guest star. Described as being really well fit, Eduardo has been a warrior for quite some time now, as he has the commitment of a tireless soldier to follow every kind of order he is given. He is intolerant to betrayal, hence his full loyalty to his fellow soldiers. Whoever plays Eduardo would appear in episode 5 (filming 9/7 -9/19), episode 6 (filming 9/19 – 10-1), episode 8 (filming 10/12 – 10/24), and episode 9 (filming 10/20 – 11/5).”
Comic fans that are deep into the Batman villains recognize that name as the father of Bane, who goes by the name Edmund Dorrance, also known as King Snake. It seems that we are getting a real Batman in the fifth season, and it feels like this show will go out with a bang, delivering us one of the biggest villains in the Batman comics besides the Joker.
What do you think? Will we see King Snake on our small screen, and who do you think will be fit for the role? Do you think the fifth season of Gotham will lead to a spinoff of the show? Let us know in the comments below.
There is no release date set yet for the fifth season of Gotham.
