After the news came in that Lucifer was officially saved by the fans and Netflix, nobody could contain their joy, including the top star in the show, Tom Ellis. He made it clear that he was happy that they would be moving forward with Netflix as a new roof over their heads for the fourth season. Tom Ellis shared an image last night in which he told the story of how his journey in the states started for him.

With the news hitting the internet yesterday, he also officially reached 1million followers! Congratulations, Tom!

Tom Ellis took to Instagram again to thank the fans with a personal song he made.

“You took, my broken wings,
You helped us fly again and make a season 4,
We heard, your voices ring,
The book of love opened up and let Netflix in.”

He also has a very Lucifer moment and says he’s going to have to ‘sharpen these bad boys’ resting on his hair.

Fox canceled Lucifer about a month ago. Considering how successful this show was, no one knew why this was happening. Fans started to rally up and made a petition for other fans to sign, and as you can see, it worked! Netflix picked it up for a fourth season. Now we have to wait on how many episodes we’ll get and how long it will take us to wait.

No news is released yet, but we’ll keep you up to date!

Are you excited for Lucifer’s return?
