There is now a trailer for the final batch of Lucifer episodes of the season! The Lucifer season 5B trailer released on Friday, much to the surprise and delight of fans everywhere! The show will be out in less than a month on Netflix, and we’ll be able to stream all episodes at once! This final half of the final season is NOT messing around. God himself has come down from the heavens. We’re going to have secrets revealed for sure, and it looks like a war is coming. Could we lose some favorite characters on the way to the end? I hope not! God has shown up in the series before… kind of. He was voiced by the creator of Sandman and Lucifer Neil Gaiman. I guess they needed former President Palmer to portray him in real life. Dennis Haysbert will be great, I’m absolutely sure of it.

What Do You Truly Desire?

This trailer is something fans have been waiting forever for. Big promises were made about what would happen when we saw it, and turns out it was all true. I definitely crapped my pants when I saw it, which is why we’ve pushed this trailer out later than most. The co-showrunner of Lucifer, Joe Henderson, is the one who made such bold claims about the trailer.

“You guys are gonna s–t yourself when you see that trailer,” Joe Henderson said. “It is awesome. I mean, the season itself is awesome, but when you guys see the trailer — I will warn everyone that the trailer does have some spoilers that you might not want to see — but it won’t ruin the experience, it will only add to it in my opinion… But it’s got a lot. I was just watching it and I was like, ‘Did we do all that in eight episodes? Wow!'”

One of the stars of Lucifer, D.B Woodside, has said these new episodes will be “chaotic”.

“When God (Dennis Haysbert) comes, a lot of chaos is going to follow,” Woodside said in a recent interview. “We pick up literally two seconds from where we ended, and Amenadiel is absolutely humiliated that God saw him behaving the way that he was with his brothers because as the oldest, he’s really supposed to be the one that sets the example — and he was not doing that!”

What did you think of the Lucifer season 5B trailer? Are you excited for May 28th?
