Look Who’s Coming Back to ‘Saturday Night Live’!

Our new favorite character, David S. Pumpkins, looks like he is heading back to Saturday Night Live (SNL) this season. Last year the newly created character, played awesomely by Tom Hanks, made quite the impact on viewers.

The “Haunted Elevator” skit debuted during season 42’s fourth episode hosted by Hanks. The stupidly funny bit, had a couple trying to enjoy a Halloween-themed elevator ride and in the midst of the ride, a wacky character and his side-kick skeletons kept reappearing. His character also came back for the show’s season finale, but this time as David S. Pimpkins. The sketch centered on a hip-hop track that had a variety of rap artists popping up all over, and of course, he had to be a part of that!

Hanks recently teased fans of the character’s return with the below post to social media. “Any questions?”

We can’t wait to see what they have in store for his wacky pumpkin suit character! Watch the original Halloween sketch below.

And because we know you can’t get enough, watch his appearance on the season finale below.

The new season of Saturday Night Live premieres September 30 on NBC.
