Logan Leaving His Mark

The Great Philadelphia Comic Con (GPCC) took place this past weekend at the Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. As I worked my way around the extensive show floor, I couldn’t help but take note of the love being shown for the Marvel hit movie, Logan. From creative cosplay to amazing artwork, it is clear that Logan continues to live strong in the hearts of many devoted fans.

There exists an undeniable emotional attachment to the X-Men star and I was happy to see his presence well represented at GPCC. Yet, being able to have your efforts stand out in such a saturated environment is even more remarkable. Some of the incredible artwork will literally stop you in your tracks!

Logan was much more than a mutant and the relationship he shared with daughter Laura makes for an even stronger connection with all his fans. It was heartwarming to see father and daughter cosplay duos doing their best to represent such an unbreakable bond.

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in all the excitement that surrounds a comic convention. Take a moment though to absorb the passion and drive behind the artistry. I look forward to a year featuring many amazing tributes to a character we will always cherish… Logan.

Note: Both artists featured here, Lord Mesa and JaCo Tartaruga, can be found at several Fan Fest Events throughout the year… be sure to pay them a visit!
