His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There’s Venom on his Instagram already! Eminem is ready… with a new song for the Venom soundtrack! The rapper revealed a brief snippet of a brand new original song which appears to be linked to the upcoming Venom film.
Eminem posted the snippet to Instagram on Thursday and while it’s literally only a few seconds of the song, we can definitely hear that Shady’s back and he’s pumped about this film.
The song is accompanied by a video which starts out with a formation of Venom‘s face featuring his unmistakable eyes and devilish smile. The face transforms into the film title (Venom) with Eminem’s signature backward E replacing the vowel in the title. While the video is playing, the song is which accompanies it is mostly composed of beats except for a brief lyric during which he says, “Venom. Knock, knock. Let the devil in.”
The sound sounds pretty sick from the few seconds which Eminem is teasing. Check out the video and tune below.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the cast of Venom includes Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, Scott Haze, Jenny Slate and Reid Scott. Venom is based on the Marvel Comic’s character with a screenplay written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinker with Kelly Marcel and Will Beall. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal with David Householter and Stan Lee as executive producers.
