Lionsgate Drops First ‘Power Rangers Movie’ Trailer at New York Comic Con
It’s morphin time! The first trailer for the upcoming Saban’s Power Rangers movie reboot dropped this Saturday just before the film’s New York Comic Con panel. The cast and filmmakers will be in NYC on Saturday afternoon to discuss the film.
The reboot follows Red Ranger Jason (Dacre Montgomery), Pink Ranger Kimberly (Naomi Scott), Blue Ranger Billy (RJ Cyler), Black Ranger Zack (Ludi Lin), and Yellow Ranger Trini (Becky G) as they fight to protect their home of Angel Grove from an alien monster.
In the trailer, we see our soon-to-be superheroes having a rough time with bullies at school. After they obtain their mighty morphin powers, however, things start to change. We get an awesome glimpse of villain Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks), who makes it known, she’s looking to kill the Rangers.
The trailer is actually pretty intense and certainly makes this reboot look kickass cool! Check it out and let us know your thoughts of the trailer in the comments sections below!
The film will be released on March 24, 2017.
