Things have been tough for Puerto Rico since Hurricane Maria hit and many have responded to the call for help, especially Lin-Manuel Miranda.
If you follow the Hamilton and In The Heights star on Twitter, you will see that he’s been hard at work using his platform to help fundraising efforts for his home territory. From the Hispanic Federation to MoveOn and Unidos Por Puerto Rico, Miranda has helped shine a light on all the ways we could help the island that is still recovering from such a terrible storm.
He has even teased his next fundraising project, bringing all of the Latinx voices together for a new song soon to be released, with the proceeds going to Puerto Rico relief. Miranda wrote the song, and from his Tweets, he’s teased big Latin performers including Camila Cabello, Luis Fonsi, Marc Anthony, Fat Joe, Gilberto Santa Rosa and many more.
Check out one of his tweets below.
