Liam Payne is ready to embrace his solo music career and fans could not be more excited. Since Liam started posting about the recording studio, being tagged in photos next to big names in the industry, and teasing an idea for his solo sound that was a lot different than One Direction; fans have been anticipating his first single.

The time has finally come for his solo journey to begin and, before he dives all the way in, Liam sent an e-mail to subscribers who signed up to be on his mailing list and it was a sweet note to let them know that he’s thankful for all of the support he’s received so far.

Hey everyone,

I don’t often get a chance to sit down and really take in all my fans messages and then message you back all as one. So firstly, thank you for signing up! I try to get involved as much as possible on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook by replying back to you when I can. I really do appreciate all the support as it means so much to me.

I’ve now finally set up my Snapchat for those of you that didn’t know it’s – @liampayne. I’ll be posting more behind the scenes stuff and just general things I’m up to.

I know you’ve all been waiting a while for my music to come out now. But I really mean it when I say the music is coming soon! As well as new shots and videos! I hope you like it!

Liam, much like the other guys, took his time creating his solo sound. When he was in One Direction they were rushed, writing and recording on the road. This time, he was able to slow down, decide what he wanted to say, and finding the way to best say it.

The hints we’ve received from him so far, the artists who have mentioned working with him, and some news today about Ed Sheeran helping him with his debut single have us more excited than ever to hear not just his debut solo single, but his entire album. Rumor has it, we won’t have long to wait now, he may be releasing music as soon as this week!

Here’s hoping.
