Discovery’s Shark Week is swimming along, packed with JAWSome programming for shark lovers around the world. In honor of the best week of the year, LandShark Lager is running a contest that shark enthusiasts won’t want to miss.
The beer brand is giving away a chance to swim with real, live sharks at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville! Six lucky winners (and a friend of their choice) will receive an all-inclusive two-day trip to Hollywood, Florida. The winnings include airfare, a stay in the VIP suite, and of course, swimming with real, live sharks!
You MUST be 21 or older to enter and can do so by texting the word SHARK to 78896. The contest is running now through August 24th. The trip for the lucky winners will take place on September 12th through the 14th.
LandShark Lager is also partnering with shark conservation and awareness group, Shark Angels, to fund 100 shark adoptions. LandShark and Shark Angels will be working together to fuel education surrounding the deep-sea predators, and some of the issues they face in their ecosystem today.
Jamie Pollack, Shark Angels Executive Director, said in a statement:
[row]“We are thrilled to have LandShark partner with us in order to further our mission and help drive the movement to save sharks and our oceans. This donation will be used to further our educational programs and help empower the next generation of shark ambassadors around the world.”[/row]
