Lady Gaga’s ‘The Cure’ Lyric Video is Here

Lady Gaga released her song ‘The Cure’ on April 16th after she performed the song at Coachella Music Festival. The song follows ‘Perfect Illusion’ and ‘A Million Reasons’ from her album Joanne. ‘The Cure’ has a different sound and feel than her recent singles and is the perfect summer song addition to your playlists.

The lyrics to the song talk about being the cure for what’s ailing someone – both body and spirit.

‘I’ll undress you, ’cause you’re tired
cover you as you desire
When you fall asleep inside my arms
may not have the fancy things
but I’ll give you everything
you could ever want, it’s in my arms
So baby tell me yes
and I will give you everything
So baby tell me yes
and I will be all yours tonight
So baby tell me yes
and I will give you everything
I will be right by your side’

The song was met with positive reviews from fans after her live performance and official release of the tune. Critically, it was called ‘lighter’ than her previous singles, dealing with ‘less heaviness’ and although Lady Gaga can absolutely tell a heartbreaking story with her songwriting abilities and soulful voice – she can also sing a bit more of an upbeat ‘love’ song.

She released the lyric video for ‘The Cure’ and it’s got a totally hypnotizing vibe. You may not be able to really read the lyrics well but it’s an awesome idea and you can totally catch them if you pay attention. Plus, when you’re Lady Gaga, you don’t have to follow the rules.

Fans on social media used the hashtag #TheCure to share their thoughts on the video and a lot of them were quite hilarious memes and photoshopped images of people trying to understand how to read the lyrics.

All in all, the video is cool and it gets your attention, so we have to say Gaga succeeded in creating another artistic expression. She’s wonderful at it.
