‘Kingdom Hearts III’ Free Update Adds Critical Mode, Allows Keyblades to Transfer to a New Game
Kingdom Hearts III received a free update today adding the much-anticipated Critical Mode, a high difficulty mode that will increase challenges throughout the game and put even the most hardened Kingdom Hearts players to the test.
The all-new critical mode will force players to think more tactically as it will halve both your maximum HP and MP and lower the frequency of situation commands and magic. To offset the new changes, Sora will be given exclusive critical-mode abilities.
In addition to the new difficulty, the latest update gave players the ability to carry their keyblades over into a new game at their default strength.
The update is live today, April 24th, 2019, on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
Will you be playing through Kingdom Hearts III on critical mode? Are you happy that you can now carry your keyblade over into a new game? Let us know in the comments!
