A truly fun experience!

Kevin Smith’s Flash Episode to Air Tonight

Kevin Smith has been directing movies since Clerks came out in 1994, Smith financed that movie by selling off his personal comic book collection. Since achieving Hollywood success he has continued to write/direct/act in his own movies. Earlier this year it was announced that he would be stepping into the DC TV universe to direct an episode of The Flash. In April we reported while filming the episode he posted some fun Instagram photos that made my inner View Askew fan girl excited, just letting us all know he was there and having the time of his life. Since wrapping the episode he has continued to post pictures and teasers, including that his hetero life mate Jason Mews would appear in the episode!

With the incredibly heavy ending of last week’s episode and the preview of this week’s episode which doesn’t look like it will be any less heavy, Smith had a lot to take on in making this episode work. Smith has said that he thinks this episode of The Flash is hes best directing work to date. On his weekly pod cast Fatman on Batman Smith welcomed Teddy Sears as a guest to talk about becoming Hunter Zolomon. Since the filming of the episode Fatman on Batman has been a good outlet to catch bits and pieces of Kevin gushing about living out a dream directing this episode. With the way the current season of The Flash is progressing there is no way this episode isn’t going to befantastic and that isn’t just my Kevin Smith fan girl talking. After the episode wrapped Grant Gustin had some fantastic things to say about the Silent Bob himself.

I can only imagine we are in for a brutal heart breaking episode tonight, so hold on friends and enjoy the ride that only the CW along side with DC Comics can deliver!
