Justice League: Ray Fisher Rips Up Joss Whedon on Twitter in Response to Whedon’s New Comments

In light of the fallout that greeted Joss Whedon’s recent interview, in which he talked about the Justice League backlash and controversy for the first time, the filmmaker would have been much better served keeping his trap shut.

Rather than accepting any of the blame for the slew of accusations and allegations leveled against him, Whedon was in full damage control mode, insisting that his comments towards Gal Gadot were a misunderstanding.

He subsequently went on to suggest that Zack Snyder was to blame in a roundabout manner, before brushing aside Ray Fisher’s persistent calls for accountability by suggesting the DCEU’s previous Cyborg was just a terrible actor.

Obviously, the actor was not going to endure that lying down, and he absolutely destroyed Whedon with a superb remark on social media, as you can see below.

It’s hard to argue Whedon didn’t harm his cause by breaking his silence, with even more drama ensuing in the aftermath. After having been a greatly popular figure among fans and the internet community at large, social media and numerous famous faces have made it clear that The Avengers director is on a down slope in general film.
