‘Jump Force’: More Playable Bleach Characters Confirmed

In early June, the trailer for Jump Force dropped at E3 and had fans praising the graphics, the details and the fact that it even exists!

Now, fans can welcome three new characters to the game. Now each of the Bleach fighters are playable in game.

Bandai and Namco warned us that even more news about the game would come out as the summer went on, and this is just the beginning. Last week, we found out that Ichigo from Bleach would become playable.

The most recent announcement from Anime News Network added Rukia Kuchiki and Sosuke Aizen to that list. All three characters will be manipulated by you, and will go up against and beside many different game characters from brands like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and One Piece. We can assume that this is only the beginning and that many more characters will slowly be added to the playable lineup.

You may have noticed that popular characters Light Yagami and Ryuk aren’t on the list, but appeared in the E3 official Jump Force trailer. Death Note fans we’re sad to say, they won’t be playable.
Comicbook.com spoke to Bandai Namco in which that news was confirmed, and they learned a few more details as well. Fans should expect one more surprise character. One may be “unusual” and “unexpected”, Jump Force producer Koji Nakajima teased.

We can expect all those announcements and playable characters to be locked down by the game’s release sometime in 2019.
