Judy Greer has a ‘Key Role’ in the Upcoming ‘Halloween’ Reboot
It was recently announced that Jamie Lee Curtis would be reprising her role as Laurie Strode in an upcoming Halloween reboot. When fans found out, they were immediately excited. Although the films have led Laurie down different paths, her character is critical to Michael’s story.
In another announcement made just days ago, it was revealed that Judy Greer would have an important role in the reboot as well. Greer is taking on the role of Karen Strode, the daughter of Laurie.
Now, the questions begin for many fans at this point. The film isn’t being called a remake by those associated with it, it’s a continuation of the story in the first two Halloween films. So what happens next? When exactly does the story begin again?
While we anticipate getting those answers next year, in footage leading up to the October 2018 premiere, we hope that Greer has a big role. We want to see how her relationship with Laurie impacts both Laurie and Michael, and what it means for the future.
Especially if she harbors a darkness within her as well.
The new Halloween film is slated to hit theaters on October 19, 2018.
