Josh Brolin is having a year. From playing Thanos, the biggest villain the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the latest Avengers: Infinity War to taking on the role of Cable in Deadpool 2, Brolin has been all over the big screen this summer. Well, now fans can look forward to seeing him on the small screen as well. Brolin has sold a series to Hulu titled The Untitled Josh Brolin Project, which, yes, is the actual name of the show.
In a recent profile on Brolin, The New York Times detailed that the show would follow “a soulless movie star named Josh Brolin who leaves Hollywood, has an ayahuasca trip and becomes a self-help guru.” Brolin will star as the Josh Brolin character that “doesn’t exist but that looks just like him.”
There’s no word as to when the series will be released, but The Untitled Josh Brolin Series will be joining John Green’s Looking For Alaska series, which was also recently purchased by Hulu. For fans that still need more Brolin in their lives, his latest film Sicario: Day of the Soldado opens in theaters on June 29th!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
