While Ryan Reynolds is so fascinating to watch as Deadpool that he could easily carry multiple films on his own, we will finally see Deadpool’s partner in crime, Cable. If that wasn’t exciting enough on its own, when the news broke that Josh Brolin would be playing the role, Deadpool fans rejoiced.
When the first photos were tweeted of Josh as Cable, it seemed as if he were fit for the role and while Cable and Deadpool don’t alway see eye to eye as characters, Josh thinks extremely highly of Ryan and spoke of him in a recent interview with EW.
‘He’s an amazing guy, very smart and really sweet — and really handsome. He’s a smart guy, he’s the one who saw this and tried to get this movie made for eight years and was unable to. I think has such a perfect sensibility. He’s a great producer on it, there’s a lot to trust there.‘
Those associated with the film frequently discuss how Ryan was the biggest and strongest force in making sure the movie was made and the positive encouragement only stands as driving motivation for him.

Josh also said that he and Ryan work together to make the set fun, and that’s another positive about working on the film. Work never feels like work when you enjoy what you do, and while filming a movie definitely requires a lot of patience and dedication, it’s important to have fun and enjoy your costars as well. Plus, with a movie like Deadpool 2…who wouldn’t have fun?
