dCome March, Pedro Pascal will be everywhere! Not only is he starring in the highly-anticipated third season of The Mandalorian on Disney Plus, but also his other acclaimed series The Last of Us. It’s going to be an electrifying month for the actor and his fans alike!
As we eagerly await the next chapter of Din Djarin and Grogu’s journey, Jon Favreau, series creator for The Mandalorian, has already confirmed that he is finished writing season four! In an interview with BFMTV Inside, Favreau highlighted the need to have a set plan in order for The Mandalorian story to remain cohesive. By plotting out each installment ahead of time, this allows them to create a unified narrative arc throughout all four seasons.
“La saison 4 est déjà écrite”

On a parlé de la saison 3 #TheMandalorian, de la saison 4 aussi, de #Ahsoka, #SkeletonCrew #StarWars #Grogu @BFMTV_Inside pic.twitter.com/qCrkxVBHeZ— (@lenicolasbehar) February 20, 2023
Favreau delves into the intricate process of how he and Ahsoka’s writer/showrunner Dave Filoni have been striving to ensure a sense of unity across all Star Wars projects occurring concurrently within their universe’s continuity.
“We mapped it out – Dave and I. Slowly you just write each episode. So I was writing it during post-production [of season three], because all of it needs to feel like a continuation and one full story, and he’s [Dave Filoni] doing ‘Ahsoka’, which I’m producing with him, but he’s the writer and showrunner on that. So to understand what’s happening on other shows, even ‘Skeleton Crew’, all take place in the same Star Wars time period so there’s a lot more we need to keep in mind, and stuff we’ve built up to from previous seasons of ‘The Mandalorian’ as well.”
Rest assured that The Mandalorian’s future is in good hands, and it looks like we won’t be taking the “retconning” route that Star Wars’ sequel trilogy did. No more rewrites or tampering with scripts – just pure, unadulterated storytelling.
