‘Jessica Jones’ Season 3 Release Date Announcement and Images are Here!
Today, the release date for the upcoming season Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’ was announced! ‘Jessica Jones,’ along with the rest of the Marvel Netflix shows, was cancelled earlier this year. However the third and final season of the Netflix series will premiere on June 14. Netflix announced this date with a twenty second teaser for the season that can be seen below.
The teaser features the male voice of a character who fans have assumed to be the villain for Season 3 as the camera moves through the hallway of her apartment building until a hand knocks on the door and Jessica is seen looking skeptical of the knock. Netflix also released four images shown below from the upcoming season of ‘Jessica Jones.’
This second image shows Trish Walker (Rachael Tayor) in what appears to be combat training, which makes sense after Trish’s ambitious story arc that took place in Season 2.
I’m interested to find out the context of this bottom image with Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Ann Moss) as she joined forces with Malcom Ducasse (Eka Darville) at the end of Season 2.
Krysten Ritter, who plays Jessica Jones herself, actually directed an episode of the series this season. In my opinion, Jessica Jones is the most humanized super hero in anything that I’ve ever seen. I find her insecurities very interesting and I love how much character development she and the rest of the cast have received so far in the series. ‘Jessica Jones’ Season 3 will be available on Netflix on June 14.
