Jeremy Renner delights his fans with an uplifting health update following his near-fatal snowplow accident.

In a playful manner, the 52-year-old actor joked about taking his “brand new” body for a joyride, despite enduring a broken tibia. Sharing a video of himself engaged in exercises, Renner captioned it with humor, stating, “I’ve decided to push through the pain of progress (this damn shattered tibia) and take the new parts for a tiny test drive.” He further expressed his amazement at the body’s resilience, comparing himself to the Tin Man in need of some oil for his rejuvenated joints. Despite the lingering discomfort, Renner found encouragement in the warm-up, slyly mentioning that his physical therapist need not know about it.

The actor also provided a glimpse of his remarkable progress since the accident through a compilation video, acknowledging the importance of taking one step at a time for walking.

Renner updated his followers, revealing that he was experiencing reduced pain levels, considering it a significant achievement. He shared his dedication to recovery, expressing his commitment to exploring various methods, including a bone growth stimulator.

In April, bodycam footage was released, shedding light on the horrifying snowplow accident that occurred on New Year’s Day near Renner’s residence in Lake Tahoe, California. The incident, where Renner suffered chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after being crushed by a 14,000-pound snowcat, was captured by Washoe County Sheriff’s Department officials who responded to the distress call. Following emergency surgery, Renner was airlifted to the hospital.

Despite the severity of the accident, Renner’s recovery seems to be progressing well. He made his first red carpet appearance in early April for the premiere of his Disney+ show, “Rennervations.” During an interview with Diana Sawyer, Renner vividly described the sensation he experienced during the accident, likening it to having the wind knocked out of him and expressing the complexity of pain that overwhelmed him.

Renner’s resilience and positive outlook have been a source of inspiration for his fans as he continues on his journey to full recovery.
