Jenna Ortega, Travis Kelce to Host Saturday Night Live

On the upcoming March 4th episode of Saturday Night Live, fresh off an incredible Super Bowl win, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will be hosting and accompanied by musical guest Kelsea Ballerini. Continuing the success on the following weekend, Saturday March 11th will have Wednesday and Scream VI star Jenna Ortega as host with The 1975 making their second appearance for a memorable night!

J.J. Watt is the most recent active athlete to take on hosting Saturday Night Live, with past hosts including Eli and Peyton Manning, LeBron James, Michael Phelps, Ronda Rousey and Tom Brady – just a few examples of athletes that have taken up this challenge! As SNL has its signature for having unexpected guests make an appearance related to their host’s profession or identity — it would be no surprise if Kelce brings along some members of his Chiefs team!

Jenna Ortega, Travis Kelce to Host Saturday Night Live

Betting on Ortega’s appearance? It’s a sure thing that she’ll come out with either her iconic Wednesday Addams role or an amusing parody taking off from the success of her Netflix series. With Scream VI premiering in theaters when Ortega hosts, it is highly anticipated to witness a lively play-off of this slasher franchise as well!

This year, Saturday Night Live has seen many of its hosts embrace their celebrity roles. Austin Butler channeled his inner Elvis in an ode to the King himself, while Dave Chappelle donned familiar characters from Chappelle’s Show. Steve Martin and Martin Short brought back their Father of the Bride dynamics, Aubrey Plaza replicated her fan-favorite Parks and Recreation character April Ludgate, and Pedro Pascal starred in a parody sketch based on The Last Of Us that mirrored Super Mario.

Saturday, February 25 will mark the debut of Woody Harrelson’s episode as host of the series. After his show airs, Travis Kelce and Jenna Ortega will take turns hosting in order to join Woody Harrelson in The Five-Timers Club.
