James McAvoy is Auctioning Off His Autographed Oscars Shirt
When Glass and X-Men star James McAvoy showed up at the Oscars last month, he didn’t plan on asking celebrities to write all over his crisp, clean white dress shirt, but that’s exactly what happened.
McAvoy explains that he was at the event when he found a red sharpie on the floor. After he bent down to pick it up, he looked up and saw Amy Adams, and he asked her to sign his shirt. He turned around and then saw Charlize Theron who also wanted to sign his shirt. Then he saw Samuel L. Jackson, and before he knew it, that became THE thing to do that night. McAvoy walked away with dozens of celebrity signatures all over his clothing, and now he’s putting that item to good use.
McAvoy is teaming up with Prizeo and auctioning off his Oscar shirt full of signatures all for a great cause. For as little as a $10 donation, you can be entered to win the shirt, which according to the Prizeo page, is signed by, “Brie Larsen, Frances McDormand, Charlize Theron, Amy Adams, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan, Bryana Holly, Amanda Peet, Melissa McCarthy, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Nicholas Hoult, Karamo Brown, Taylor Swift, Rumer Willis, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph, Sam Rockwell, Helen Mirren, Elizabeth Banks, Kerry Washington, Zoe Kravitz, Jason Momoa, Michelle Yeoh…oh, and many more we’re still trying to decipher!”
Donations support Ronald McDonald House New York, an organization which provides temporary lodging and care for families while their child battles cancer. The more you give, the more entries you get to be in the running to win the autographed shirt.
