It Won’t Be a Merry Christmas in Trailer for Fortnite Season 7

The trailer for the latest season of Fortnite, the battle royale game taking gamers by storm is here.
It takes on a Christmas theme that gets flipped on its back pretty quickly. A nutcracker is decorating his quaint home for the holidays, and jovially skips around before finally laying out his gingerbread men and taking a bite of one. As soon as he does, things start to shake and we zoom out on a group of Fortnite players gathering around the TV.
They are also celebrating the holidays, but somebody is not about to let them Netflix and chill. It seems to be a new skin called Sergeant Santa. He enters via a huge ice block and planes called Stormwings. Snowmen shoot at the players below. The new location is called Frosty Flights, and has ziplines scattered across its island. Also continuing into the winter theme of season 7 will be slippery areas that will trip players up. The way players get around will be drastically shifting because of the planes and ziplines.
The company writes in the caption,
Takes to the slopes and skies in Season 7. A mysterious iceberg has smashed into the island, bringing new frosty locations and gameplay, including a new flying vehicle: the Stormwing. Jump in now and start playing.
This season will also continue the pets theme with the addition of a hamster friend.
Yesterday, Epic Games revealed a Minecraft style game in which players can design their own experience with Fortnite. Fortnite Creative is what it’s called, and it will be available on December 13th.
The Game Awards take place tonight, so look out for even more Fortnite news.
Season 7 of Fortnite is available to play now!
