“Is It Worth Free?” March Xbox Games With Gold

Hello Xbox fans! It is that time again and we have brand new free games available for those subscribed to Xbox Live. Just what are these freebies you ask? Well I am glad you did, because we are going to take a look and break down just whether or not they are worth your time.

*Disclamier: You must have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to take advantage of these games*

  • Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion (Xbox One)

So I had no idea, but this is actually a turn based combat game. Which does not sound as fun as it should for an Adventure Time game. In any case, according to the reviews it is fun and worth it for the narrative, but is too short and the combat is an odd choice. If you love the series, maybe give it a try.

Is It Worth Free? – “Adventure Time, Please don’t grab your friends, you probably shouldn’t go to this distant land.”

Metacritic Score – 66

  • Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 (Xbox One)

PVZGW2 is a great way to do a sequel. They took the original, which was a little bare in terms of content and absolutely ramped everything up to 11. The single player additions, new classes, new modes, everything you could want improved was improved on. My only qualm with this freebie? If you have EA Access you have had this for free for a little bit.

Is It Worth Free? – Absofruitly! Peasitively!

Metacritic Score – 80

  • Star Wars: Republic Commando

Stop whatever you are doing right now and go grab this if you haven’t. I mean it. I don’t care what the reviews say. This is one of the greatest Star Wars games created. It plays super well, the story is fantastic, and it deserves a sequel. If you like shooters and you like Star Wars, execute order “Download to Xbox One”.

Is It Worth Free? – Roger Roger

Metacritic Score – 78

  • Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Metal Gear games are usually confusing, but this one is completely different in it does not even follow the usual main character and type of play. This one follows Raiden the cyber ninja introduced in Metal Gear Solid 2, and plays like developer Platinum Games normal action motif. It has received a whole lot of praise, and as someone who has only played the demo I am glad to get the chance to put some time into it.

Is It Worth Free? – Snake? Snaaaaaaake? Yeah download Revengeance.

Metacritic Score – 82

There are your Games With Gold for March! Which ones are you excited for? Pretty sure I’m right when I say they start with Rep and end in Ublic Commando. You can go and download those now on Xbox One and the latter two games on Xbox 360.
