Sometimes life brings you to a place of absolute self-realization and purpose and when that happens for those with a platform, the result can touch people across the world. This is the case with IronE Singleton and his latest endeavor ‘Blindsided by The Walking Dead’.
When IronE thought of this new project, he didn’t just hope to entertain his fans, he wanted to inspire people around the world with a message of hope and understanding. He wants to open windows for forgiveness, empathy, courage, and to do what we can to make the world a little better for everyone.
The Kickstarter page says this about the experience.
BBTWD is a powerhouse of entertainment, empowerment, and inspiration. The show run time is 1hr 45mins during which time IronE Singleton plays more than 20 different characters ranging from all walks of life to tell his life story growing up destitute in the inner city projects of Atlanta through his college career and time on the football field at the University of Georgia. After taking his audience on a tour of his experience being cast in major productions such as The Blind Side and The Walking Dead, the production concludes with an explosive ending.
IronE’s story is definitely one of inspiration, and right now, that’s something we could all use a little more of. As the website explained, he’ll be taking on different characters which are set to stand for different parts of his life. From a very rough beginning to a future that simply wasn’t in the cards for him, IronE is baring it all in hopes to encourage fans and audiences around the world, but he needs our help.
The Kickstarter page will allow fans to donate to the one-man show to make it the best that it can be. As fans donate different amounts, IronE has a set of gifts as signals of his gratitude and there are some incredible ones available. However, prizes are limited so the sooner you donate, the sooner you can make sure one of them becomes yours.
IronE will forever be one of our favorite celebrities, and that sentiment stands true for many of you as well. We really can’t wait to see the show for ourselves.
