Avengers 4 is going to bring a very different type of Marvel film to fans, but some of the familiar surprises will be tweaked for the occasion.
One of these is the fact that Iron Man’s armor is usually upgraded for each film. Tony Stark will be getting a very new suit design based on some new concept art leaks. They show that he may don a gold sleeve look.
Concept Art by Artist Daren Horley gives a thorough look at the inner workings of the suit and how we will see it.
For Tony’s “undersuit,” it is possible that the sleeving has effects of its own. This could also be the same for the helmet. It would make sense, because Tony previously had figured out some nanotech features for his Avengers: Infinity War armor.
This new look at the design is much more intricate and shows that he may have features that he can control at his will and build as he goes.
We can expect to see the rest of the Avengers taken on an adventures through both space and time in Avengers 4 so he will likely need such advanced applications.
The Silver Age Iron Man comics gave us the golden sleeves, and this is a look that hasn’t been fully represented in the MCU movies. Having Iron Man wear one of his earliest designs could be a great way for Tony to depart from his role as Iron Man.
Many of the original Avengers are expected to be rebooted after Avengers 4, and Marvel Comics fans would appreciate a trip back in time as well.
Avengers 4 will hit theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
