Invincible Getting Seasons 2 and 3! Kirkman’s Superhero Show Is Amazing Just As Good As The Walking Dead!
Invincible is getting seasons 2 and 3! The Robert Kirkman created superhero comic has been absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The first season ended on Friday with an absolutely phenomenal showdown! Mark, the main character, went up against his toughest foe yet! The showdown was bloody, as you might expect from a Kirkman creation. The show is so good that I think it might actually be better than The Walking Dead. Kirkman is definitely more known for his zombie comic, but I think Invincible surpasses it.
The story will continue in seasons 2 and 3 of Invincible, while will undoubtedly pick up all the loose plot threads! The show has a ton of source material left to cover, so who knows how many seasons we could end up seeing! The show is beautifully animated and voices mostly by Walking Dead alums. And J.K Simmons of course! For fans of the comics, you know that there is some seriously crazy stuff coming!
From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Image/Skybound comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an hour-long, adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age—except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.
