Season Five of Arrow will see Human Target meeting some members of the team!
Jessica Jones‘ Wil Traval will be taking on the comic book role, according to TVLine. The character, Christopher Chance, is set to appear in episode five of the season.
In the comic book universe, Chance (aka Human Target) is a private detective and bodyguard who slips into his clients’ identities and lure any potential threats and eliminates them.
TVLine is reporting that Chance’s client when he appears in the fifth episode will be Star City’s Mayor, Oliver Queen.
It won’t be the first time the DC character’s made an appearance on television. The most recent stint was Fox’s Human Target starring Mark Valley as Chance and ran for two seasons on the network. Rick Springfield also played the title role in the 1992 iteration’s short run.
Traval’s most recent credits include Jessica Jones, where he played Will Simpson, and ABC’s Once Upon a Time and Red Widow.
Arrow returns Wednesday, October 5 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
What do you think of the Human Target casting? Who will be after Oliver (and what are the odds it’s Bratva-related)?
