Production Begins on Deadpool 3 with Wolverine’s Return and Hugh Jackman’s Exciting Social Media Post

Deadpool fans, rejoice! The highly anticipated Deadpool 3 is officially underway, with filming kicking off in London in late May under the working title Tidal Wave. This marks the Merc with the Mouth’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), adding even more excitement to the mix. But what has truly sent social media into a frenzy is the news of Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine for one last (?) adventure.

Hugh Jackman Posts 3 Letters to Social Media and it Sends Deadpool Fans into Excitement

Jackman is well aware of the buzz surrounding his return to don the adamantium claws, and he managed to ignite social media with just three simple letters and a picture of his rugged Logan appearance. The letters “LFG” stand for “Let’s F**king Go,” and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.

As of now, the exact storyline for the film remains a mystery. However, it seems that Deadpool and Wolverine will share an uneasy partnership, described by Jackman as “opposites” with a “quarreling dynamic.” Wade Wilson’s mischievous behavior is bound to constantly frustrate Logan. While a showdown between the two is inevitable, their powerful healing abilities make it unlikely for either of them to emerge as the clear victor.

One notable detail is the film’s official title, which has yet to be announced. It may simply end up being Deadpool 3, but in interviews, Ryan Reynolds has referred to it as “The Deadpool/Wolverine Movie,” and Jackman has called it “Wolverine and Deadpool.” Marvel might find a way to incorporate Jackman’s character into the title, keeping fans guessing.

Unfortunately, the release date of November 24 is still some time away. However, fans can remain hopeful for a teaser trailer later this year. Regardless of how it unfolds, we eagerly await seeing how this unlikely duo fits into the existing MCU. Could Wolverine stick around to mentor the new mutants of the MCU? At this point, anything seems possible, and the anticipation continues to build.
