Since Batgirl’s arrival in Glasgow, we’ve been flooded with set photos that could be seen as spoilery in nature, hinting at a variety of characters and narrative elements that might play a role in the tale.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise that Warner Bros. has taken the initiative and published an official first look at Barbara Gordon in her full costume, with Leslie Grace getting the chance to post the photo on her Twitter page.
In a similar manner, David F. Sandberg, the director of Shazam! Wrath of the Gods, revealed the sequel’s heroes’ new costumes in order to prevent fans from seeing Billy Batson and the gang’s fresh duds via grainy cellphone photos.
This will undoubtedly generate more interest for Batgirl as filming continues. With the title character’s ensemble now exposed to the public, don’t be surprised if the next group of photographs from the set focuses on an action sequence now that the studio has revealed its hand.
Although there is no release date for Batgirl as of yet, it appears that the DCEU’s first HBO Max exclusivity will debut before the year is out.
