Harry Styles is taking the entertainment world by storm, and it’s no surprise to his longtime fans, but he is sweeping new fans off of their feet in an unexpected way. Harry isn’t just a boy-bander anymore, he’s taking on a solo career and doing so in a style that’s all his own.

Harry released his debut single ‘Sign of the Times’ last month, but before fans even heard the song, he had a date on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. That says a lot about his talent and how many people believe in him. Of course, the single and his guest spot were totally successful. He also sang another song from his album on SNL, ‘Ever Since New York’ and it was, again, a hit.

His self-titled album, Harry Styles, will debut on May 12th and while fans are counting down the days – they were recently given something new to look forward to. That’s right, again, before fans have even heard the album – Harry has announced a tour.

The thing is, his album is set to be huge, so a successful tour isn’t a stretch of the imagination for him.

With a simple tweet, his dates were announced and upon further investigation, fans found out that the venues he’s playing are small. This sets up an intimate fan/artist experience and that’s perfect for Harry right now. The venues are beautiful and as we said, small in capacity,  which means the focus will be on Harry and his music – not theatrics.

Tickets for the tour go on sale May 5th but you have to be registered in the verified fan program on Ticketmaster to be in consideration for the code necessary to score said tickets. With smaller venues, this is leaving some fans nervous, but it’ll all work out the way that it’s meant to.

Plus, it’s worth it to see Harry going to some incredible venues on his first solo run. Even if that means much smaller crowds will be seeing those shows live.
