The Walking Dead Alum, Scott Wilson turns 76 today! Scott played our beloved Hershel Greene from seasons 2-4.
Born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1942, Scott has 50+ film credits to his name. He made his feature film debut in In the Heat of the Night (1967). Carl gets shot by Otis while helping the group search for Sophia. Rick carries Carl to the Greene farm where Hershel was able to save him.
After losing his farm at the end of season two, Hershel and his daughter’s join Rick’s group and they eventually discover the prison and make it their home in season three. In season four, after several run-ins with the Governor in the previous season, Hershel is captured along with Michonne. We were very saddened at his death and departure from the series in the mid-season finale, “Too Far Gone”.
After The Walking Dead, Scott appeared in the film Hostiles and has had roles in television’s Bosch, Damien and The OA.
