Two more The Walking Dead family birthdays today! Both Steven Yeun and Tom Payne are celebrating!

Steven Yeun is a Korean-American actor born in 1983. He turns 34! We best know and miss him as Glenn Rhee in AMC’s The Walking Dead. He has also appeared in several films, television shows, shorts, cartoon voiceovers and video games.

Some of his credits include Okja, I Origins, The Big Bang Theory, Drunk History, Law & Order: LA, and Mayhem.

We have loved Steven since the very beginning of The Walking Dead when he saves Rick from the horde of walkers by guiding him from the tank to the department store. Who could ever forget those iconic and famous first words of his, “Hey you! Dumba**! Yeah, you in the tank! You cozy in there?” From there a deep seeded friendship developed that grew into a family which lasted 6 full seasons. Glenn was one of the remaining members of what fans refer to as the “Atlanta 5,” along with Rick, Carl, Daryl and Carol. Although we knew it was coming, especially if you read the comics, we were still devastated when Glenn and Abraham finally met their demise at the hands of Negan and a blood-thirsty Lucille. His final words, “M-M-Maggie, I’ll find you,” still sting to this day. R.I.P. Glenn Rhee!

Glenn may be gone but Steven is very much alive! He is currently working on the Korean film, Burning, and will also reprise his voiceover role as Steve Palchuk in the second series of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy. The first being Trollhunters on Netflix.

In December 2016, Steven married photographer Joana Pak and the couple have a son named Jude Malcolm Yeun.

Tom (Thomas) Payne was born in 1982 in Chelmsford, Essex, England and turns 35 today! He is an English actor known for his role as Brett Aspinall in the series Waterloo Road but we know him best as Paul “Jesus” Rovia on AMC’s The Walking Dead.

His other filming credits include Miss Pettigrew Lived for a Day, The Inheritance, My Funny Valentine, The Physician, Skins (series), Luck (series), and New Worlds.

Tom was cast in the sixth season of The Walking Dead and became a series regular for its seventh season. Can’t wait to see what the back half of season 8 has in store for Jesus!

Join us in wishing Steven and Tom the happiest of birthdays with many more to come!
