Happy Birthday, Austin Nichols!
Hey guys! Another member of The Walking Dead family is having a birthday! Our very own Austin Nichols is turning 38 TODAY!!
We all got to know, love and at the end, maybe hate him as Spencer Monroe on AMC’s The Walking Dead. Sadly, he was killed off in the mid-season finale of the series’ seventh season by none other than Negan himself, who gutted him to reveal if he really had ‘guts’ or not. TRULY EPIC!! His death led Rosita to snap and shoot at Negan. She ends up hitting ‘Lucille’ instead. Arat kills Olivia and Negan takes Eugene, prisoner.
Austin is an actor and director born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1980. Besides The Walking Dead, He is also well-known for his role as Julian Baker on The CW’s One Tree Hill. He has also made appearances in Wolf Lake, Six Feet Under, Odd Man Out, Sliders, The Day After Tomorrow, The House of Usher and Wimbledon. After leaving The Walking Dead, he moved on to work on A&E’s Bates Motel as Sam Loomis for its fifth and final season.
Nichols is an avid movie enthusiast, taking notes of every movie he watches.
Besides past episodes of The Walking Dead, fans can catch Austin at various conventions throughout the year including our very own Walker Stalker Con.
Even though some of us hated the character of Spencer Monroe, we still and always will love Austin Nichols. Join us in wishing him a very Happy Birthday with many more to come!
