‘Halloween’ 2018 Gets an Honest Trailer

If Michael Myers is still haunting you at night, Screen Junkies have a special kind of treatment for you. Their latest chapter in the Honest Trailers series focuses on the ultimate horror film of 2018, Blumhouse’s Halloween.

The trailer covers all the rules of a stereotypical scary movie, including the introduction of Jamie Lee Curtis AKA this years Sara Connor. The trailer also points out that if you are a podcaster covering a significantly large event, such as the 4o year anniversary of the Haddonfield murders… why would you be recording the information on that date, instead of releasing it? Perhaps if they had chose a different day – the outcome for Marc Scare-On and Scare-A Koening may have turned out quite differently. Starring ‘Clint Eastwoman’ and ‘OK Michael Say Goodbye to These’, this trailer is a pretty good one!

Halloween 2018 takes place 40 years after the original 1978 classic, created by John Carpenter. After Michael escapes the mental institution, Laurie Strode confronts her long-time foe Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree four decades ago. Directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Jeff Fradley, and Danny McBride; Halloween scored $253.7 million at the domestic box office.
