‘Gremlins’ Returns To The Big Screen
Gremlins will be returning to the big screen for one week, beginning on December 5th, to celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary. The film will be shown at Regal theaters throughout the country.
Like the film Die Hard, Gremlins is questionably a Christmas movie, which sparks debate each year. The film focuses on the original ‘Baby Yoda’, a mogwai named Gizmo. Gizmo is taken in as a pet by a boy who quickly fails to follow the rules and then more mogwai are spawned that eventually turn into Gremlins. The film follows all of the havoc and mayhem at the hands of the Gremlins.
Like most 80’s great nostalgic films, Gizmo and the Gremlins continue to be popular and still sell merchandise. Fans continue to hope for a reboot of the film and it appears to at least be in discussions according to /Film.
