Greg Nicotero Confirms Daryl and Jesus Will Not be the Next ‘Walking Dead’ Couple
From the beginning of time it seems, speculation and hopes have been aired for who Daryl Dixon could eventually, love on The Walking Dead.
Since the introduction of Jesus last season, (he gave Daryl a run for his money stealing his stuff) fans have been shipping the two.
Aboard the Walker Stalker Cruise in The Bahamas this weekend, Norman Reedus, Jeffery Dean Morgan and Greg Nicotero sat for a panel with fans, and discussed this possibility.

Norman asked Greg if he could have a dog, or another four legged creature friend. Then he said, “Daryl has sex with that tiger.” Now of course, Daryl and Shiva do not have an intimate relationship.

A fan then hollered that Daryl and Jesus could hook up, Greg Nicotero simply stated, “No!. There cannot be enough exclamation points after that no.”
Tom Payne, who plays Jesus on the show was also in attendance on the cruise, his panel following the next morning!
So unless something shocking develops or him and Carol reunite, it seems Daryl will be single and ready to mingle for a long time coming. Sorry guys!
