Grant Gustin Is Expecting His First Child!
We all know and love Grant Gustin, he’s a great dude and an even better Flash! Speaking of the Flash, the show is returning in just a few weeks and we’re pumped for season 7! I want my speedsters, damn it! Grant Gustin and his wife, LA Thoma, shared some news that’s even better than the return of our favorite speedster, however. The two took to social media to make an incredibly joyous announcement! Grant Gustin is expecting his first child! How cool is that?
The couple posted a picture to Instagram on Thursday showing off a picture from their ultrasound. The photo also features several dogs, who also seem excited for the new member of their family. Gustin couldn’t hide his excitement, captioning the photo “Unbelievably excited ❤️ As LA noted, the dogs obviously are too.” If this isn’t some of the best news we could have gotten after a terrible 2020, I don’t know what is! The two have been married since 2018 and have previously told news outlets that the ceremony was wonderful. They also, apparently, were surrounded by friends and family which is pretty much all you can ask for on a wedding day, right?
As mentioned above, The Flash will be returning in just a few weeks here. Funnily enough, another Arrowverse star, Melissa Benoist, just recently had a child as well. This is reportedly one of the reasons she won’t be returning for additional seasons of Supergirl. The Flash was one of the many shows affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and resulted in the show not getting a true season finale. The storyline picks up with season 7.
If I could make one request of Grant Gustin, however, it would be this. Let’s try to not run back in time and erase this one… please?
