We have 25 days to go before Gotham makes its return on our screen and we are thrilled! The San Diego Comic-Con trailer had us feeling all kinds of things, but most importantly showed a Gotham that is ready to take a turn for the worse. We have a confirmed Scarecrow we’ll be seeing this season, and we are excited to see how they’ll fit him into the storyline.
What we also know is that Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) will be starting to wear a cape and slowly, but surely, will grow into the caped crusader we all know and love.
We are in for a wild ride with the show, especially as they seem to be heading closer to the comic book world with Selina and Bruce’s storyline. At least that’s according to David Mazouz who sat down for an interview with TV Guide.
“Their relationship will continue to develop and ‘Proto-Catwoman,’ and baby-vigilante Bruce will begin interacting with each other in a way that more closely resembles the bond between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle in the comic books. In some cases, that’s straight enemies, but more often it’s borderline friends with a lot of sexual tension and opposing views on how to save the day — and who they are saving it for.”
We already felt the love-hate relationship that Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) had throughout the show, and this piece of information that Mazouz gave is making us feel giddy. It means we’re getting closer to that point we’ve all been waiting for, from the first minute the show aired.
With a last look at season 3, where Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) got to use a whip for the first time, we are ecstatic to see what will become of her this season.
