‘Good Girls’ Nabs a Second Season from NBC
Get ready for another season of hijinks alongside Mae Whitman, Christina Hendricks, and Retta because NBC has just renewed the female-centric comedy for a second season! The series, which has received rave reviews from critics, follows three suburban mothers who decide to rob a grocery store when things get dire for them and their families. Good Girls joins NBC’s darling This Is Us as the only dramas (well, dramedy) to receive renewals for the network.
While it has certainly been a critical favorite, Good Girls hasn’t exactly turned heads in the ratings. However, thanks to a huge deal with Netflix, the series will be distributed outside of North America on the streaming service, which is sure to bring on a whole new fan base by the time season 2 premieres.
Fans of the series also have something to celebrate as the season 1 finale ended on a huge cliffhanger. While an episode count or release date wasn’t provided, we are just excited to know that these fantastic ladies will be back!

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
