‘Ghostbusters’ theme song will get a reboot too

In addition to the 1984 classic, Ghostbusters, getting a reboot, the theme song will get one too!
The original theme song, recorded by Ray Parker, Jr., was a huge hit. It received an Academy Award nomination in 1985 and staying on top of the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks, and has continued to be an essential piece of the Ghostbusters legacy. #whoyougonnacall?
Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy tweeted on June 2nd “Crossed one off the kid dream bucket list by covering Ray Parker theme with Missy Elliot verse.”
Unfortunately the song has not been released yet… But has been released is Elle King’s rockabilly rager “Good Girls” which you can listen to below.
The soundtrack will also feature G-Eazy ft. Jeremih, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pentatonix, Walk The Moon and Wolf Alice.
The film and soundtrack will be released July 15th.
