WATCH: HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Deleted Scene Revealed
It’s been a while since we’ve received word from Westeros and, while this isn’t news regarding the upcoming seventh season currently in production, we are still super excited about it. Entertainment Weekly has released an exclusive deleted scene from the Game of Thrones Season 6 DVD an Blu-Ray combo which will be released later this week.
The clip (shown below) is from the second episode of the sixth season and shows Olenna (played by Diana Rigg) and Mace Tyrell (played by Roger Ashton-Griffiths) traveling through the streets of Kings Landing while discussing a plot against Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey). Olenna reveals her ultimate agenda is to free Margaery (played by Natalie Dormer) and Loras (played by Finn Jones) from imprisonment.
In addition to this clip, the upcoming DVD and Blu-Ray release will also include includes more deleted scenes, an in-depth look at the making of the Battle of the Bastards, and a ton of other extras and audio commentaries. The sixth season will be available on DVD and Blu-ray starting November 15th, 2016
The seventh season of Game of Thrones is currently in production and will premiere on HBO summer 2017.
